Welcome to Matlock Pre-school Playgroup

Matlock Pre-School is registered by OFSTED to provide childcare and Early Years Education.   

We provide care and education for children 18 months to 5 years old, Monday to Friday, term time only.

We have stay and play sessions during the school holidays, at Woolley Road, where all the family can come along and enjoy some fun, games and socialising.

Our experienced, qualified and professional staff provide a safe, secure and caring environment where play, fun and learning come together, ensuring your child is happy and protected at all times. We welcome all children and families into our setting regardless of race, religion, culture, ability, sexuality or gender.

Fees/Charges​

We have two fee structures at our Tin Hut site, for children aged 18 months to 2 years we charge £21 per 3 hour session or £7 per additional hour, and for children aged 2 years and above we charge £18 per 3 hour session or £6 per additional hour.  

At Woolley Road our our fees are £15 per 3 hour session, or to add additional hours we charge an hourly rate of £5.00 per additional hour.

We accept childcare vouchers, and 2, 3 and 4 year Early Years funding from the government, and payments through your tax free childcare account.
